Licensees who have their own water supply and wish to use the appointed water company's supply system may be able to obtain large discounts from the appointed water company and thereby be able to pass this on to their customers. However, the indicative access prices published by the appointed water companies in September 2005 suggest that licensees wishing to purchase a wholesale supply may not be able to obtain such a large discount. A lot will depend on the particular circumstances of a customers' supply requirements and the outcome of individual negotiations.
