My shared supply pipe is leaking, is it my responsibility?

If a leak on a shared supply pipe is not covered by the company's free repair scheme, householders may share responsibility with their neighbours for the costs of repairs. For example, in the supply pipe responsibility diagram below, for a repair in the pipe running past house D, the responsibility for making repairs would probably be shared with houses E and F. You should check the deeds of your property to establish responsibility.
