Letter to Stakeholders: changes to our organisational structure
Dear Stakeholder,
We have made changes to our organisational structure. Ofwat has important and exciting challenges ahead. To help us deliver our priority objectives we have made changes to a number of our policy teams. The changes which took effect from 23 July are explained below. The updated organogram is attached for information.
Corporate Affairs Division.- PR09 Policy Coordination and Project Management - Mark Hann: Mark moves from the Comparative Efficiency team to take on this pivotal role.
- Parliamentary and Public Affairs – Ian Hulme: Ian moves to this role and will be focusing on simplification as well as public affairs issues.
- Head of Media and Sustainable Development: Tony Moran joins us to take up this new post.
Network Regulation Division.- Head of Water Resource Economics Team – Paul Hope: This will bring together supply demand, water efficiency, leakage and metering policies in one team.
- Head of Comparative Efficiency Team – Helen Twelves: This will bring together base opex, and opex and capex econometrics policy.
- Head of Asset Strategy Team – George Day: The team will take forward the key work on capital maintenance and serviceability with additional responsibility for climate change policy. We have recently advertised for a Head of Climate Change Policy who will work to George.
We have also advertised for a Head of Environmental and Water Quality economics. The successful candidate will work alongside Rowena Tye (Head of Quality Enhancement team until Rowena retires next March).
Consumer Protection Division.- Head of Customer Charges Team– Lynne Currie: Lynne will be responsible for Tariffs work and will also co-ordinate Ofwat's company advisers.
Regulatory Finance and Competition Division. - Head of Enforcement Policy - Ingrid Olsen: This is a new post responsible for the development of our policy on enforcement, investigations and fining policy, working with Tracey Anderson.
