No company currently has restrictions in place.

During 2006 seven companies in the south-east had to issue restrictions on customers' water use. The Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs granted drought orders for non-essential use to these three companies:

- Mid Kent Water
- Southern Water
- Sutton and East Surrey Water
