Which water companies have restrictions in place?

There are no longer any companies with a hosepipe and sprinkler ban in place, though 7 companies did restrict use in 2006. For 5 companies these restrictions continued into 2007.

The actions of companies and customers successfully minimised the impact of the drought in the south-east. Companies across the region saw demand reductions of up to 15%. And independent research by Waterwise confirms that even in areas without hosepipe restrictions, demand in June fell by up to 10% as people took account of the drought warnings.
