What is being done to develop water efficiency? Waterwise was created in September 2005 and has the following objectives: - to reverse the current upward trend of, and then reduce, consumption per head in the UK by 2010; - to provide a greater evidence base for the contribution of water efficiency in the UK; and - to use demand management to address affordability We sit on Waterwise's board and work closely with it.
We support and sponsor the 'Economic research and innovation water efficiency award'. This is an award to a company for a research project that we consider has significantly contributed to the economics of water efficiency initiatives for household customers.
