Customers' bill increases
Is there anything I can do If I have a problem paying my bill? If you have any problems paying your bill,contact your water company immediately. It is in the company's interest to help you sort out any problems you are having. Your water company can discuss ways to help you manage any debt and give you advice about how you may be able to reduce future bills. Many companies also offer assistance in the form of charitable trusts which aim to provide assistance to those customers who are experiencing financial difficulty which has resulted in the non-payment of water bills. These schemes are normally run independently of the company. Contact your water company to see if they offer such a scheme. Alternatively, details of utility schemes can be found on the British Gas Energy Trust website.  |
