TITLE:June returns
IARN:WS000-010
IDENTIFIER/DATABASE ACRONYM:June returns
DESCRIPTION:Previously known as the July returns, these are the water companies' annual returns to Ofwat detailing progress on capital expenditure programmes and key programmes to comply with legal obligations set by the Government or EC (e.g. to clean up bathing water). The information provides a framework for the submission of the majority of information required to enable Ofwat to monitor progress and compare performance between companies. They include the regulatory accounts for each of the water only companies and the water and sewerage companies. The information collected is used to regulate the industry and to produce comparative reports on leakage, levels of service, financial performance and expenditure, tariff structures and charges and water and sewerage service unit costs and relative efficiency
