Reporters and auditors Reporters comment on the company's progress and performance. They check and report on the accuracy and confidence levels of the data submitted. Companies appoint reporters, after approval by Ofwat. Auditors examine and comment on the regulatory accounts (financial statements prepared in accordance with Ofwat guidelines to ensure common practice).
