Ofwat changes the appointment conditions of Bournemouth and West Hampshire Water

Ofwat has changed the appointment conditions of Bournemouth and West Hampshire Water (BWH Water). This will maintain the protection of BWH Water's customers, following changes to the company's ownership and capital structure.

In 2005 BWH Water increased the level of debt in the business and during 2006 Nuon completed the sale of its 50 per cent stake in BWH Water's holding company to Biwater which already owned the other 50 per cent stake.
