Ofwat publishes draft price limits for West Midlands |
On Thursday, 5 August, Ofwat will publish draft price limits for water companies in England and Wales, including Severn Trent Water and South Staffordshire Water.
This is a major announcement by Ofwat. The draft price limits, which are subject to consultation, will affect the water and sewerage bills that water companies will be able to charge customers for the next five years from 1 April 2005.
To explain the implications of the draft decisions, consumer, environment and business correspondents are invited to attend an on-the-record, off-camera media briefing with Bill Emery, Director of Costs and Performance and Fiona Pethick, Periodic Review Project Manager. There will be an opportunity for on-camera interviews after the briefing.
