Ofwat publishes draft price limits |
On Thursday, 5 August, Ofwat will publish draft price limits for water companies in England and Wales.
This is a major announcement by Ofwat. The draft price limits, which are subject to consultation, will affect the water and sewerage bills that water companies will be able to charge customers for the next five years from 1 April 2005.
To explain the draft decision, consumer, environment and city correspondents are invited to attend an on-the-record, off-camera media briefing with Philip Fletcher, Director General of Water Services. There will be an opportunity for media interviews with Mr Fletcher after the briefing.
