Ofwat publishes final price limits for water companies |
On Thursday, 2 December, Ofwat will publish final price limits for water companies in England and Wales. This follows a period of consultation on our draft price limits published in August.
This is a major announcement by Ofwat. The final price limits will affect the water and sewerage bills that water companies will be able to charge customers for the next five years from 1 April 2005.
To explain our decisions, consumer, environment and city correspondents are invited to attend an on-the-record, off-camera media briefing with Philip Fletcher, Director General of Water Services. There will be an opportunity for media interviews with Mr Fletcher after the briefing.
