Periodic review 2004
What was the process for the price review? We initiated the 2004 periodic review of price limits by publishing our consultation paper "Setting price limits for 2005-10: Framework and approach" on 15 October 2002. Each company produced a draft business plan setting out its preferred strategy in August 2003. Brief summaries of these draft plans are available on our website. We summarised the information from these plans in "Setting water and sewerage price limits for 2005-10: Overview of companies' draft business plans" published on 16 October 2003. Companies submitted final business plans to us in April 2004. We scrutinised these plans and took account of companies' annual returns for 2003-04 in setting draft price limits in August 2004. We announced our draft determinations on 5 August 2004 and invited comments and views on these by 13 October 2004. We took account of views expressed and any new information provided to us before setting final determinations in December 2004.  |
