What is the Water Resale Order and what does it do?

Ofwat has the power to make an order to say how a maximum price should be worked out to make sure that those who resell water or sewerage services do not overcharge. We introduced such an Order, known as the Water Resale Order, in April 2001 to protect residents from being overcharged.
