WSL 05/05 24 June 2005 Dear Colleague WATER SUPPLY LICENSING (WSL) PROPOSED PROCEDURE FOR HANDLING WSL DETERMINATIONS I attach our proposed procedure for handling WSL determinations. This explains our powers to make determinations about some aspects of new water supply arrangements, the procedures for making these determinations and other action that we can take. This procedure has been developed in consultation with the WSL Technical Advisory Group as part of implementing the new statutory regime for market competition under the Water Act 2003. I welcome your comments on this, in particular the timescales for handling cases.
