PROCEDURE FOR HANDLING WATER SUPPLY LICENSING DETERMINATIONS

I enclose our procedure for handling water supply licensing determinations and the summary of responses to our June 2005 consultation. The procedure takes account of the comments that we received and has been finalised in consultation with our Technical Advisory Group. It outlines our powers to make determinations about some aspects of the new water supply licensing regime and also sets out our process for handling determinations; including our proposed timescales for carrying out investigations.
