WATER SUPPLY LICENSING (WSL) GUIDANCE ON ELIGIBILITY

I enclose our guidance on eligibility and the summary of responses to our October 2004 consultation that take into account consultation responses and discussions with our technical advisory group.

The guidance explains how to assess whether a customer's premises are eligible to be supplied by a water supply licensee. It includes information on what constitutes a single set of premises, what are household and non-household premises, and explains how to measure supply volume in order to assess whether premises meet the threshold requirement.
